13
    14
Events and the calendar used to be an integral part of the Geeklog core code,

   114
Other Options

   115
   116
Please note that some of the options from Geeklog's main configuration
117 are also relevant for the calendar plugin:

   118

   119
Times and dates are formatted according to the current language and the
   120 locale settings from Geeklog's
   121 main configuration.

   122

   123
   124
   125
Autotags

   126
   127
The Calendar Plugin provides one autotag,
   128
[event:]
. You can use this autotag to link to an event in the
129 calendar without having to type out the URL. Simply add the event's ID after
130 the colon. It will then create a link to that event and use the event's title
131 as the link text. Alternatively, you can add your own link text after the ID
132 (but before the closing bracket).

   133
   134
For example, on geeklog.net:

   135

   136

[event:20090805065311513]
will be translated to:
FrOSCon - Free and Open Source Software Conference

   137

[event:20090805065311513 FrOSCon 2009]
will be translated to:
FrOSCon 2009

   138
